Per-device driver reference, one page per GEM device driver.

2N IP Intercom

Integration for 2N IP intercoms and access units (IP One, IP Verso, IP Force / IP Safety, IP Style, the Access Unit family, and similar models) over the 2N HTTP API v2. One intercom becomes one GEM device. The driver controls the unit's relays and outputs (one GEM zone each), grabs camera snapshots, receives live keypad / card / PIN / input events, keeps the 2N user directory in sync with GEM's users (PINs and RFID cards), projects GEM access-rule schedules onto the device so it enforces day/hour windows offline, and toggles the camera's privacy masking.

📄️BrightSign Digital Signage Player

BrightSign is the dominant fixed-function digital-signage player in commercial AV — you find its small solid-state boxes driving retail videowalls, quick-service menu boards, hotel lobby screens, museum kiosks, and corporate signage. This driver connects to a BrightSign player on the LAN using its built-in Local Diagnostic Web Server (LDWS) REST API and covers the management surface: device info, health, time, on-screen snapshots, the player registry, and reboot / firmware operations.

📄️Christie Projector

Drives Christie Digital venue projectors that speak the classic Christie serial ASCII protocol over TCP on port 3002 (serial-over-Ethernet). Covers the D-Series HD, M-Series, HS-Series, Boxer 4K, and GS-Series product lines — the projectors that fill boardrooms, lecture theatres, houses of worship, and mid-tier venues. Wire format is a (VERB VALUE) frame terminated by CR; the driver strips response prefixes, normalizes state, and writes powerstate, mutestate, input, lamp_hours, and a raw temperature string back onto the device.

📄️ControlByWeb Relay / I/O

The controlbyweb driver controls a ControlByWeb WebRelay / I/O board (WebRelay-Quad, X-410, and similar) over the LAN. Each relay output becomes a controllable GEM zone you can turn on, turn off, or pulse as a dry-contact trigger; each digital input becomes a read-only zone that reports its contact state. It is the general-purpose relay board for jobs where you need GEM to throw a hard contact — triggering a gate or garage operator, driving a lighting contactor, latching a lock strike, or switching a power circuit.

📄️DoorBird IP Intercom

Integration for DoorBird IP video intercoms and doorbells (the D10x, D11x, D21x families and similar units) over the DoorBird LAN HTTP API. One intercom becomes one GEM device. The driver opens the unit's door relays, holds a relay open or closed, starts and ends SIP calls, and reports the live doorbell-button press and motion events as device attributes you can build automation on. It also reads the unit's system info, call favorites, and schedules, and can reboot the device.

📄️Kohler MPAC

The Kohler MPAC driver monitors and controls a Kohler Decision-Maker MPAC V2 automatic transfer switch (ATS) controller — MPAC 1200 V2 or MPAC 1500 V2 — over Modbus/TCP. It polls the controller's system overview, source metering, setup, I/O, active events, and run-history registers and publishes them as device attributes with history enabled for graphing. It also exposes a small set of control commands: force-transfer-to-off, resume, loaded/unloaded test, preferred-source selection, transition-mode change, and service disconnect.

📄️Kramer Protocol 3000

Drives Kramer video matrix switchers, presentation switchers, and HDBaseT tie-lines that speak the Kramer Protocol 3000 ASCII API over TCP. Covers the VS-, VP-, KDS-, and MV- families that shipped from roughly 2015 onward — VS-88UT, VS-411X, VP-771, VP-427X1, VS-62H, KDS-EN2T/DEC decoders configured for fixed-map control, and similar. Each matrix output surfaces as a GEM zone, with input routing, output mute, and (on models that support it) output volume written back onto the zone as state.

📄️Meross Smart Hub

GEM driver for the Meross Smart Hub (msh300, msh400 Pro) and its paired sub-devices: sprinkler timers (mst100/mst200), thermostat valves (mts100/mts150/mts150p), temperature & humidity sensors (ms100/ms130), door/window sensors (ms200), water-leak sensors (ms400/ms405), and smoke alarms (ma151). The hub keeps talking to the Meross cloud — the Meross mobile app continues to work alongside GEM — but every GEM command and state read flows over signed HTTP /config on the hub's LAN address.

📄️Netgear Managed Switch (PoE)

The Netgear Managed Switch driver controls the PoE ports on Netgear managed switches — the M4250 / M4350 AV-line family and compatible models — so GEM can cut PoE power to a port, restore it, or power-cycle a hung powered device. The classic use is putting a PoE camera, access point, intercom, or PoE-powered display under automation: a trigger or a maintenance macro bounces a frozen camera's port, or an "away" scene sheds power to non-essential ports — the network-closet equivalent of pulling and re-seating the patch cable, without a trip to the rack.

📄️Peplink Router / Switch

The Peplink Router / Switch driver controls the switch ports — including PoE power — on Peplink routers and managed PoE switches over the device's local HTTPS API. GEM can cut PoE power to a port, restore it, power-cycle a hung powered device, or disable a whole port outright. The classic use is putting a PoE camera, access point, intercom, or PoE-powered display under automation: a trigger or a maintenance macro bounces a frozen camera's port, or an "away" scene sheds power to non-essential ports — the network-closet equivalent of pulling and re-seating the patch cable, without a trip to the rack.

📄️Tesla Powerwall

The Tesla Powerwall driver polls a Tesla Backup Gateway over its on-LAN HTTPS API (TEG firmware) and surfaces state of charge, instantaneous site/load/solar/battery power flow, lifetime energy counters, pack capacity/degradation, online block count, grid status, and operating mode as device attributes. Per-Powerwall-block diagnostics (state-of-charge, inverter state, backup readiness) are flattened onto the device as well. It can also switch the operating mode (self-consumption / backup-only / autonomous) and adjust the backup reserve percentage. All traffic stays on the customer LAN — there is no Tesla cloud round-trip at runtime.

📄️TP-Link Managed PoE Switch

The TP-Link Managed PoE Switch driver controls the PoE ports on TP-Link managed switches (the JetStream / Omada series) so you can turn PoE power on or off per port, power-cycle a stuck powered device, and read each port's live power state from GEM. The classic use is putting a PoE camera, access point, intercom, or PoE-powered display under automation: a scene or trigger can cut power to a port, restore it, or bounce a hung device with a single power-cycle — the network-closet equivalent of pulling and re-seating the cable.

📄️Tuya / Smart Life (Cloud)

Cloud bridge for any device paired in the Tuya, Smart Life, Brilliant, Geeni, Treatlife, or other Tuya-white-label apps. One device row represents a Tuya IoT Platform project; each Tuya device exposed to that project becomes a GEM zone keyed by the Tuya device id. The same project can front a single home's couple of smart plugs or hundreds of devices across a property — the Tuya Cloud OpenAPI is one of the largest device platforms in the world by install base and is a common request for retrofit installs that already have Tuya hardware in place.

📄️Ubiquiti UniFi Switch

The UniFi Switch driver controls Ubiquiti UniFi managed switches (USW / Pro / Enterprise) so you can turn PoE on or off per port, power-cycle a powered device, administratively enable or disable a port, and reboot the whole switch from GEM — plus read each port's live PoE draw and link state. The classic use is putting the power to a PoE camera, access point, or PoE-powered display under automation: a scene or trigger can cut power to a port, restore it, or bounce a hung device with a single power-cycle.

📄️Axis VAPIX

Integration for Axis network devices over the VAPIX HTTP API — fixed and PTZ network cameras, network door stations / video intercoms (the I81xx, A8207-VE, I8016-LVE family and similar), and Axis I/O relay modules. One Axis unit becomes one GEM device. The driver moves PTZ cameras and recalls presets, grabs JPEG snapshots, drives the unit's relay outputs (one GEM zone each), turns privacy masking on and off, mutes and trims the device audio, and keeps a live WebSocket event feed open for I/O, motion, tampering, PIR, audio-trigger, and intercom keypad / PIN / card / call-button events.
