EverNVR

EverNVR adds intelligence to the cameras a site already has. It connects to existing ONVIF and RTSP cameras, of any make or age, and runs object detection, zone rules, appearance search, recognition, and health monitoring on a local recorder. The cameras do not need analytics of their own, and nothing about them has to change or be replaced. See intelligence for existing cameras for what that adds and what still depends on the cameras.

Use a browser to see live video, review recordings, find events, and configure notifications. An optional AI security agent can answer questions using a provider you choose.

EverNVR can work alongside an existing recorder. It uses one connection per camera unless you enter a higher limit, and reserves connections for the existing system. EverNVR keeps the cameras' clocks, time zones and time source correct by itself; it does not change camera encoding settings or reboot cameras.

Before you quote a site

The software has been exercised on development cameras and synthetic streams. There is no qualified appliance, no supported camera-count rating, and no complete camera or browser compatibility matrix yet. The sizing figures in these pages are working estimates from one development machine, not ratings. Read support and current limits before sizing or commissioning a deployment, and commission the actual machine, cameras, storage, and client devices at every site.

These pages describe the current source version. A recorder running an older release may have different controls. Its version is in Settings → This recorder.
