Routing matrix
Every board serves http://etherjax-XXXX.local/matrix, a page for the whole
network. It works the same from whichever board you open it on. Open it from
the Matrix → link on any board's page.
Routing
Under Routing, zones (decoders) are rows and sources (encoders, plus other AES67 streams heard over SAP) are columns.
- Tap a cell to send that source to that zone, or Off to silence the zone. Switching is live: nothing reboots.
- Each zone has its level meter, volume and mute.
- An amber cell is routed but receiving nothing.
- Offline devices are dimmed. Hover over a device's status dot to see its current problems.
- A source a zone can't play is disabled, and its tooltip gives the reason.
- A source that shares its address with another sender has an amber dot, and its tooltip names the other. Each zone plays only the sender it was routed to.
When the grid doesn't fit, on a phone or with many sources, each zone becomes a card with a button per source.
Other devices
Serial servers lists each serial server and its enabled sockets. USB/IP servers lists each USB/IP server, its device, and which host has it attached.
Firmware on every board
The Firmware panel lists every board's version. Choose a
build/etherjax.bin, and the page reads the version from the file, then
Update updates every board that isn't on it yet, one at a time. It waits
for each board to come back before starting the next, and updates the board
serving the page last. See firmware updates.
Password on every board
The matrix signs in to the other boards with the password you used for this one, so give every board the same password. Admin password here sets a new one on all of them at once (Set on all devices). See admin password.
